Polar King: first summer voyage to the Arctic eastern sector
The m/v Polar King is now making its first summer voyage to the eastern sector of the Arctic. The vessel is delivering cargo to three ports along the Northern Sea Route with ship-to-ship unloading over a beach. First of them is Cape Chelyuskin located in the most severe strait of the Arctic Ocean - Vilkitski Strait; the second on its way opening summer navigation is Kotelny island. Port of Pevek is going to be the closing port of the voyage.
